As we're bt last night.
I am not going to get into a backward and forward discussion about this but he was clearly 100% onside, no matter which camera angles you want to look at.From the Tv pictures that true but, I've seen instances where the Tv will show a still that later the VAR cameras shows the opposite so, cant say for absolute certainty that he wasn't
For sure the lineman operated from muscle memory reverting back to pre VAR days and the ref blew both shouldn't have happened
D'you think the reporting should be more London centric?Yeah, for an area with a population of half that of London they get a disproportionate amount of billing. They even report the scores for Celtic B ffs.
More fans attend games in London than in Scotland but more Scottish clubs are reported.
Still cant believe some are arguing he wasnt onside. The mind boggles…I am not going to get into a backward and forward discussion about this but he was clearly 100% onside, no matter which camera angles you want to look at.
Said to my lad last night, Haaland’s athleticism and “Stretch Armstrong ability” got him that goal last night, was anything but a “tap in”.I'd like to know how players they think could have reached that "tap in" let alone been in a position to attempt it in the first place.
Yes that’s how I read it… eventuallyIs it 9 in his last 5? Can't remember, but they still know what they're doing
Also, when Darke was boring us by his rambling on about some Spanish player, scoring a goal for some other club, some years ago, Savage completely blanked him and simply referred to the on-field action.Fair play to Robbie Savage. Impartial and when appropriate complimentary to City. Can’t ask for more.
So not a crowd noise option?Darke is just doing what he need to do for the money.
Remember his £100 Grealish passes to £45m Mahrez and onto £50m Kev etc? He was called out on twitter by a load of us and tried to say he did that with every club....he was battered by us and he's not done it since.
Savage was pretty good last night but like them all they've been wankers for so long I don't need to hear them blowing justified smoke....just give me a crowd noise option (with megaphone & drums removed).
Jake Humphrey is a terrible presenter. He just goes through the motions. Last night he came across as bored, just someone going through the motions. Why can't BT employ someone who loves football and inspires the viewers?Ian Darke is an absolute shithouse when it comes to us. BT have changed their tune sharpish. Never forget just how blatantly they were anti City in the past. It was off the scale.

The truth is…39 likes to a post that didn’t reference Coutinho not actually being offside.
Does truth even matter anymore?
Not sure, I didn’t mention a goal.The truth is…
No ‘goal’ was actually ‘ruled out’, as no goal was scored. Coutinho was flagged offside (incorrectly) by the linesman and the ref blew his whistle, so play was halted. Where has this ‘goal’ ruled out narrative come from
My thoughts exactly, linesman incorrectly flagged, ref correctly blew for it, game stops, free kick awarded end of.The truth is…

It wasn’t actually aimed at your post, more at, as you suggested ‘the truth’ of the matter. Not sure, I didn’t mention a goal.
Fair enough. It was just a shit decision by the linesman that potentially stopped Villa scoring. It wasn’t actually aimed at your post, more at, as you suggested ‘the truth’ of the matter.
Exactly… there was nothing wrong with the ‘Bernardo’ goal, Rodri was not offside by the laws at the time. No errors made by anybody…except Mings of course.Fair enough. It was just a shit decision by the linesman that potentially stopped Villa scoring.
Nothing like the Rodri goal.
