Is it fuck.

My weekend plans in tatters because the UK is following an outdated tradition that makes us look like fucking North Korea.
Behave yourself.

The government haven’t mandated it, the Premier League have decided.

Our head of state of 70 years has died so a football match has been postponed and you’re comparing it to a country where you get put in a death camp for criticising their dictator.

Clown.

Being reported that golf, cricket, rugby league and horse racing going ahead this weekend along with the GNR.
So why is football cancelled? Not looking to offend those who are genuinely affected by the death of the monarch but to me this position makes no sense at all.

I’m hearing local carnivals also cancelled this weekend which effect local business & event organisers.

The establishment have missed a big opportunity. Let people celebrate the queens life not put life on hold & lose money in challenging times.

Forcing things like this only divide people more.

I don’t get the selective cancellations
I've heard Liverpool is still open for business as they are scouse not English

Yeah just had radio on in the car and it does all seem very forced, it’s a strange thing why people have to show they’re the most upset and hurting more
One caller saying she’s in the office and nobody can concentrate and they all keep having to get up and hug each other

Potentially our next game could be v United in October ffs
Can't see how Wednesday's game could possibly be postponed. It's under UEFA jurisdiction so PL decision for this weekend has no bearing. It would be a near diplomatic incident if thousands of Borussia fans were out of pocket in air fares and hotels.

Being told I have to mourn for someone I never met and had no feelings for for one way or another. There's a word for that...it'll come to me...

Fascism.
Whilst I disagree with the decision. It's not facism. For a start it was not the Government that called the games off. The official guidance does not call for cancellations, the Queen seems ot have indicated that she wanted minimal disruption.

This is simply the Premier League making a huge misjudgement.
