Probably not now but later down the line when all this has died down and the fixture are piling up I can see Juergen having a whinge just for a changeI wonder if any PL manager will dare to question the decision. I guess it would have to be a team that’s in Europe as there’ll be no other clubs having press conferences. Whoever criticises it will face a social media pile on, despite being correct to criticise it.
I`m discussing the crass posts slagging of royalty which are unwarented on this thread.Eh? The postponement of the game is everything to do with the Queen's passing?
Doesn’t really concern me that greatly if people want to spend the day walking around the shops and so on.you must be pretty annoyed and the multitude of other facets of society that will simply continue, with people paying their private respects as and when they want.
I think it should be the royalists who should leave the thread. There really are some crass posts on this thread and IMO opinion why don`t you non royalists just leave the thread.
They are the biggest collections that Manchester food banks receive and they won’t be happening. You can still donate to a foodbank if you want to , nobody is stopping you
They won’t give a fuck, mate. If, broadly speaking, football fans are unable to get refunds for costs already incurred there needs to be a big stink about this and the PL/FA need to be taken to task for the decision.
It's one thing to make the call they have but it's entirely another to leave ordinary people out of pocket at a time like this when they had no say in the matter. We already know what the authorities and organising bodies think of ordinary fans, but it doesn't make it right.

I suggest you go and wipe your tears on your Union Jack flagWhat a complete knob.I suggest you look at the posts whereby its only slagging off royalty and thats my point !!!J

I`m not arguing whether the games should or should not be called off. That decision was taken by the various Football Sporting Bodies and times have changed quite dramatically since 1952 so how you can use that as a tool is way beyond me.I think it should be the royalists who should leave the thread.
I'm not a royalist but I won't disrespect the passing of a 96 year old lady I didn't know.
Just looked it up that George VI died 6th Feb 1952. City played Blackpool at home 9th Feb 1952 and I bet all the other fixtures went ahead as well.
This is just the usual modern day hysteria.
Says our new right wingerYes, social media is always a good representation of broader society isn’t it? Definitely not a left wing, weird echo chamber at all is it?
And having attended roughly 600-700 city games, the prospect of having to wait a week or so before having the chance to attend another match doesn’t really concern me too greatly.
Now is not the time to think about things like this. Show some respect, Forget about the donations and join the nation in mourning. But my single donation won't match the thousands of donations that were, until an hour ago, expected to be made. Even if I donate everything I could possibly carry it still wouldn't make up the difference. People are going to starve in their homes this weekend because of the Premier League's decision, but hey, at least they'll be able to watch rolling wall-to-wall news coverage of blurry images of the Queen from 1956.
The NFL starts this week but it’s hardly football is it?For those interested there are a few live MLS games on the "Free Sports" Channel over the next couple of days.
Tomorrow evening 1800 our Sister Club New York City play.
Better than nothing..... if you want to escape the serial mourning channels for a few hours.
