Nobody here wants to stay at home and cry over someone they haven't met. Fucking baffling the amount of times that has been posted.The Queen isn't more important to me than City. I'd imagine that's the case for thousands of others.
And given that times are hard, not just for people but for businesses, I can't imagine many refunds are going to be handed out by hotel chains, train companies, etc. in the event that the game is postponed.
So what are we all supposed to do? If you want to stay at home and mourn HM then that's fine but the rest of us want to crack on.
That doesn't mean I can't see or understand the significance of her death whilst also realising her death holds more importance to the world than when my Nan died.
Yes those who have hotels and travel booked will lose out but this is hardly a regular occurrence
