In terms of conventional warfare, and a meaningful military escalation, they’ve seemingly got nothing left to give.

I’m prepared to take some financial pain now and the months ahead if it means Ukraine protect their sovereignty and democratic way of life. We may suffer now financially but Ukrainians suffer with blood and heartbreak. Mark my words.. give into Russia now then we’re all fucked Slavs Ukraini

If Russia were capable of escalating they would have escalated by now.

Your premise is that Putin is thinking “Ok annihilating 30 years of economic progress, losing 60,000 men and trillions of $ worth of equipment over 6 months for what was supposed to be a 3 day operation was fine, but now they’re launching a counteroffensive the gloves are off!”

Their Ukraine thread had a Russian on there constantly crying his eyes out, calling everyone racist for calling Russia out, using Orc etc. He really was raging. They banned him, but I'd have been tempted to keep him on for the comedy.

What would you have done?
Surely the opposite of what you are saying is bad would have been to let Russia rampage though the country killing anyone they wanted and taking over the country.

Is that what you are proposing would have been a favourable solution?
