If someone invades a sovereign state, with documented incidents of genocide, rape and ethnic cleansing, how do you propose they deal with such a threat? If Ukraine just rolled over, the blood shed you see now would be a drop in the ocean, compared to when Putin then set his sights on Finland, Sweden etc.

So not only are they losing ground they gained in the recent 'special military operation', they are losing ground they were comfortable in.
