It’s been confirmed this is not true, which is one of the reasons all other sport is continuing.

Next weekend there may be policing issues but with the funeral now on Monday they’re hoping not.

Football needs many more police than other sports.

Im all for blaming the scousers and it sounds plausible but why did the FA decide to ban all grass roots football too. We have an upset kid who's feeling like he is back in lockdown. Under 8s Cup tournament cancelled for tomorrow and they aren't even allowed to train today !! Stopping some 7 year old kids running around some cones in a field. Madness.

Just because I am against this football postponement doesnt mean I am against people mourning.

It is a sad time, my missus is very much a royal family fan. I am not belittling her, I am not moaning about wanting to watch programmes.

I will be watching the funeral and at some point I guess a few tears will fall from my eyes. And yes I would have liked my football on today.
