Yes, the Royal family do live in gilded cages shielded from the day to day toil of most of us, (not unlike some footballers) but when heads of state from other countries come to visit where would you have them meet?
It's a bit special being invited to 'The Palace' I think.
You don't even need to use the word Buckingham, the whole world knows what being invited to THE Palace refers to.

It’s as though people have differing opinions.

I don’t think much has been disrespectful. People have gone further in questioning things than I may have done, but I’m not in charge and neither are you or anyone that isn’t a mod.
