It wouldn't be fair if somebody stayed up by 'gaining' this point against a team they would never have beaten in a month of Sundays though.

Giving everybody a point is not as fair as you make out.

How about cancelling one of the pointless international friendly weekends instead, that seems a far fairer solution to me.

I can’t stand these international games but we know these International games ain’t going to be cancelled!

This season is unique with the World Cup so the “fairest” is way is a point each! We know though the premier will just make teams play 4 games in day 9/10 days they don’t give a toss about the players they never have…
