This shoulder problem is nothing we won't have already known about. If it's flaring up, best to get the surgery over with now.

12 games from now till the World Cup. Even if he misses all of them, we'll be fine.

This shoulder issue must have been picked up in his medical and the advice was presumably it could be fixed. Might explain why he wasn't silly money.

We have a huge problem now. We need to find somebody who can allow Rodri a rest now and then or else the inevitable Rodri injury will arrive.

Yes the lad Chelsea tried to buy fir £50mil on transfer deadline day. Expert on here said Romeo wasn’t good enough but he stood out in an excellent EDS Team.

His one irritating attribute.

I mean, he is obviously the best manager around, has the odd brain fart, over fiddling etc

But it is hard to believe that Lavia can move from EDS to Soton and start and play well but not be good enough to be considered even worthy of some league cup games here (in the last couple of seasons) and now be ready to take 7-8 games in the prem if Rodri required a rest or was injured/suspended.

Easy for some to say but Soton are a lower level than us, and so are Leeds and we just bought their Lavia, who on a good day looks a very good player but will never be a world class one.

Just an opinion, he could and should have been afforded the time to make it here, there was room for him in the squad at his position.

What a waste to put Silva as the DM, Akanji has been impressive though.

I wonder if our conditions of sale to Saints prevented the resale to Chelsea so soon? We supposedly have first option to buy Lavia back for £40mil.
