It's not an excuse, his singing was shit. Absolute garbage. But the backlash has been disproportionate. The guy is a shit singer. Even his fans admit he is shit. He's been shit for at least a decade, and I would argue longer still. His fans know he is shit, anyone who paid to go and see him must have known what to expect. And yet for some reason the social media crowd are now piling on.

How many absolutely wank live performances by other performers go uncommented on each day?

Maybe the fact that he had no band might be a contributory factor? Fans will be feeling short changed (ripped off?) by him. It was a shitty stunt by him.
