Keaton Jennings finished the season with a 72.5 average from 17 innings, top effort from him. He may well be leading run scorer in CCD1, 5 tons as well.

The criticism of Parky is his pace or lack of it. Wasn't it clocked consistently under 50mph? Basically, means although he turns it, it's ultimately slow turn.
Do think he's got 'magic' ball though which the majority of others on the circuit don't possess.

Overall Lancs have had a really good season and the youngsters are coming through.
Balderson's kicked on -100 in the RL Cup, 5fer last week including a hattrick against Essex, 97 yesterday and some other vital knocks in the CC. Also takes wickets.
Hartley has done well especially in the T20s and 5fer today.
Lavelle's a great keeper and can bat; scored vital runs in the RL Cup.
Bell is potentially a test player. Looks class and a more than useful keeper.
 
Good strong finish to the season for Lancs. All in all, a decent season. Guaranteed 3rd place in the CC. It's a shame about the 2 cup final defeats, but we have have the makings of a team that can win things again. As an aside, a shout out to Jennings who had a great personal season and the backstumps mum for letting him wag school.

I think parky's stock ball is around 46/47 mph, but he does bowl the odd one in the 50's. I just think he really needs to develop a good wrong un if he's ging to go to another level.

Totally agree what you have said about the other players. Will Williams has seriously good bowling stats as well, be interesting what he can do next season, now he has had a taste of County Cricket.
 
For Lancs Will Williams has been a hell of a signing, his 36 wickets in 8 games is a fantastic return.

Despite being constantly the bridesmaid, I think it's been a great season, and I've been able to watch so much of it, which has been brilliant.

Today was an excellent win, no matter that Surrey had already won the trophy and were probably a bit off the pace, they still needed to be beaten, Lancs the only team to do so, and comprehensively today. There seemed a great spirit between the 2 sides too right to the death.

He is a better red ball bowler.
He needs a good season of 1st 11 cricket and could challenge for an england place.Unfortunately he is a vital cog in the Lancs 1 day side and the wretched 100.Cracking fielder and can bat.

We could still see Yorkshire relegated tomorrow (though unlikely); that would make it an even better season.

Yeah totally agree on Williams and even better that he's here on British passport meaning we can bring in another overseas.
I'd love to get Hasan Ali back. Went to the game against Gloucs and he was brilliant. From what I've heard he was really well liked by all the players too.
 
Strange to think that this time last year Warwickshire were celebrating winning the Championship; a year on and they’re in serious danger of slipping down a division.

Not the first time that's happened in recent years, either, and we've seen teams like Essex promoted and win top division, which makes me wonder if the difference between the two divisions is that big.

We'll see Northants, Kent and Essex finish in the Top 6 this year, which makes me wonder what a Super League would look like.

He's been superb, great bowling figures both here and in New Zealand, far inferior players have been capped by New Zealand in the not to distant past and he's very unlucky to be playing when they've got so many excellent seam bowlers.

He has a British Passport so the ECB may take the piss with him like they did with Darren Pattinson, call him up for one game to stop him playing for NZ.
