One of the most successful (and dangerous) aspects of this is that the upper class have trained so many in the lower and middle classes to not only revere the wealthy but to champion and protect them, under the guise that they too will be rich one day (even though the system has literally evolved again to make that extremely unlikely for the vast majority of people on Earth). These brainwashed souls want to “protect” their destiny; they’re imagined legacies.

“Don’t tax the wealthy now, because then I’ll be taxed later when I am rich.” “Don’t hold them to the same ethical standard as me, as then I will be held to that standard when I am wealthy and want to fuck with the peasants, as is my unalienable right as a member of the upper class.”

In many ways it is a perpetual hazing ritual where almost no one is actually admitted in to the secret society.

We see that with those still defending the Tories even after everything the May, Johnson, and now Truss governments have done to their livelihoods and futures, and the livelihoods/futures of their family, friends, and greater communities.

You see it with the thousands of random Twitter accounts (and sometimes in-person crowds) jumping in to defend, harass—or worse—assault anyone that has the temerity to criticise business/cultural figures like Elon Musk or Donald Trump.

As I said, it is a weaponised belief that is literally destroying the fabric of society.
 
Just watching Jake Berry the Party Chairman on the Andrew Neil show talk himself out of his sub £10k majority - he is woeful - Neil is like a boxer dominating the middle of the ring and stopping him from backing into a corner. There is no chance that Neil will get to interview Truss given this mornings events when Truss was shot down in flames when facing friendly fire from Tory K.

Some Tossbag earlier had film of Fabricant getting shouted at - the poster said he had been manhandled but he hadn't got that on film.

Later a tweet came out that denied that had happened and explaining that Fabricant had been given incorrect instructions and so had accidentally walked through the protests. He described them as noisy but good mannered and said Fabricant had not been touched although one did get close with a loudspeaker so Fabricant had pulled that out of his hands and threw it to the floor.

How do we know this - the author of the explanatory tweet was Fabricant himself. I love it how the outraged free speak loving snowflakes freak out and make lies up just because someone holds a view opposite to them and its refreshing that Fabricant himself came out with the truth

I thought that it was quite admirable of Fabricant to set the record straight, and specifically state that protesting was fine.

I commented on this earlier - Jake Berry has a sub 10k majority so must think being an MP isn't for him or banking on being made a peer before they get kicked out

Thing I really don’t get with this is who do they actually think should be doing those jobs? Their view of an aspirational society, if everyone followed their advice, would leave no one doing the millions of essential jobs that are actually required for a society to even function.

If they funded those jobs properly, then we could have an aspirational society that means people get rewarded for doing their job well, whatever they choose to do.

It’s so moronically stupid.

I agree with the sentiment on this but I think you need to check both Fabricants own tweets and the others by that particular journalist (as in Hauschild) today…

He said he wasn't assault but some young thug approaching him like that isn't on. I don't agree with tory policy but I wouldn't aggressively approach an MP like that.
