I had a work email from a rag yesterday which was sent at 15.34 yesterday. Forget the fact he was working on a Sunday (my job is a Monday to Friday job) but the time it was sent. He must have missed their last two goals. Have replied today but as it's a delicate negotiation I will wait until that is completed before I take the piss.

Unfortunately nobody at my work is interested in football at all.

However, a red mate who I always banter with via WhatsApp hasn't even read my messages from yesterday yet - I'm still sending them through now though so he'll have lots to read when he eventually grows a pair and opens WhatsApp.

I had a new starter to train up this morning. He was a young rag who didn't watch the game as he was fixing his car. We've got another here who never watches them when they lose, but when they win he was always watching it in the pub with his mates. ****

I work in a garage workshop in Somerset with fans of United, Liverpool, Villa, Arsenal and more. Unlike you read on social media everyone of them is raving about City's performance and especially Haaland. He really is a superstar.

Don’t work with any but anyone I know that supports them have been keeping pretty quiet, elusive almost.

Strange though, usually a talkative bunch, they couldn’t shut up after the liverpool and Arsenal games.
