Didn't get mentioned much yesterday but was fantastic, one of his best games from him, if not the best. Let's kick off from here Jackie boy!
Damn right it's personal.Worthwhile input. I guess at least you admit it's personal rather than trying to couch personal dislike in bullshit criticism of his ability.
Turned his back on his country. Why?
Seriously? I'd be delighted if all our players turned their backs on their countries.Turned his back on his country.
I feel differently.Seriously? I'd be delighted if all our players turned their backs on their countries.
Fair enough. I wouldn't dream of trying to persuade you to change your mind.I feel differently.
You couldn't my friend, good call :)Fair enough. I wouldn't dream of trying to persuade you to change your mind.
Just curious, though; would/do you have the same low opinion of Alan Kernaghan? You couldn't my friend, good call :)
No, the north and the Republic are different, everyone has the right to play for both.Just curious, though; would/do you have the same low opinion of Alan Kernaghan?
20 mins a game is not good enough is it ? He needs to take the game by the scuff moreArguably his best 20 minutes in a blue shirt, was probably the best of our front 3 in the very early stages until Phil and Haaland stepped up and took over. Faded after that when he should have been continually going at Dalot who was shitting his pants to get him sent off but the job was done by then. can be happy with his contribution today. Keep it up.
Which is true (and I'm not going to open that can of political worms). The perception is, though, that he would have been "seen", rightly or wrongly, by NI fans as turning his back on his country. No, the north and the Republic are different, everyone has the right to play for both.
Same country.Which is true (and I'm not going to open that can of political worms). The perception is, though, that he would have been "seen", rightly or wrongly, by NI fans as turning his back on his country.
As I said, I'm not going down that road. Also, I did say "perception", not fact or reality.Same country.
:)As I said, I'm not going down that road.
I’d argue was the player that set the tempo from the off yesterday and got us making a quick start.20 mins a game is not good enough is it ? He needs to take the game by the scuff more
Why would he play for the country equivalent of Forest Green Rovers, when he could play for the Stoke City of countries?Turned his back on his country.
I posted yesterday he played well and gave me more of what i want , he does wilt in games though , he cant be unfit , maybe lack of confidence when others are shining in a game , anyway he is on the right trackI’d argue was the player that set the tempo from the off yesterday and got us making a quick start.
His involvement some of the goals is underrated too. He might not have made the final ball, so it doesn’t get highlighted but his ability to carry the ball made it possible for an assist to even occur.
I totally agree he has needed to influence games more but nobody can say he didn’t yesterday, or in the Wolves game. So maybe he’s turning a corner.
Did he hook up with your girl or something? Snub you for an autograph? C'mon Aguero, come clean...Still despise the little shit
