Comedy duo....they are truly cringy ......Tories must be suicidal.

It's like the Conservative party have been bought by the Glazers using debt.

Put in cheap managers and take out as much as you can get while you can.

Their problem is that they have allowed a party within a party to happen.
The Tory party as we used to know it barely exists now as the right wing extremist parasite that has grown in its belly has taken over, mostly refugees(!) from a smashed ukip and the ever lurking ERG.
It’s up to the old school tories - if any still exist- to try and reclaim their party from this poison, but it may have already gone too far.
It will be interesting after the next GE if they take a right pasting in which direction they will go, or if the right wing vote in Britain will become as fragmented as the left vote has been.

There are plenty of old school Tories left - many have left or have been banished from the Party. Even those that remain are for the most keeping their powder dry doing what Labour have done - stank back and let them destroy themselves then they may have to come back or come together and form a Conservative Party version 2.
 
This reminds me so much of Militant taking over the Labour Party but the right wing version obviously. They need to get rid of these loonies but they don't have a strong enough leader to do it. God help us because they are with us for another two years.

Yes, we can accept that time was short and something needed doing on things like energy prices.
Hey, Kami, as an alternative, just announce the critical things and don't announce other things that aren't vital. I mean, it's not like you provided costings for anything anyway.

I’m hoping that the ERG types and the other assorted loonies sulk off an take the old gammon voters with them.
As a reconstructed mainstream Tory party would need those gammons’ votes as well, this could ensure a split in the right wing vote nationally, ensuring that we may never get another right wing government.
