Jesus andy , you have done a good job mate , you might have to have a dexa scan to check for osteoathritis xxJust seen the physio it’s been upgraded to a broken shoulder and broken leg with extensive ligament damage, can’t wait to see what the hospital say tomorrow.

Just a warning mate as I've done it myself. There's a good chance the ligaments will ossify while your leg is in the cast and once the bone is healed sufficiently they'll have to re-tear them to let them heal properly. Also properly might be only 90% of strength and mobility. Mine was my right ankle and the ankle is a dodgy joint to injure but just want you to be fairly warned.Just seen the physio it’s been upgraded to a broken shoulder and broken leg with extensive ligament damage, can’t wait to see what the hospital say tomorrow.

I broke my ankle years ago, they put a plate and six screws in to help it heal faster. It worked well and I was skiing within three month. Took a year to get it feeling like nothing ever happenedJust a warning mate as I've done it myself. I had manipulative surgery as I took the chance to avoid screws. 8 months in some combination of cast, crutches and a stability boot.I broke my ankle years ago, they put a plate and six screws in to help it heal faster. Yep will make crutches difficult, you might have to take the wheelchair route until the shoulder is better.Cheers mate, legs only in a splint at the minute they were only calling it ligament damage until now, left leg left arm is a pain.
