I’m a FoC it’s official

Thanks I need cheering up, running around isn’t really an option at the minute, it takes 2 of them to get me into a wheelchair, not sure what the hospital is playing around at, but they’re completely overwhelmed there which is why they’ve shipped me out to a care home x

It’s hell when it takes two of them to manoeuvre you around anywhere. I remember that feeling of helplessness so can empathise. Are you a reader? Do you have a Kindle?
Luckily for me I’m an avid reader and my Kindle was my lifeline but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Good luck and I hope things improve for you soon. x

That's the funny bone, right?
Ha, that is where it connects to the elbow , second biggest bone in the body , really hard to break and physio is a nightmare , i was told my injury would take a year to resolve as it was in several pieces but it didnt heal till eight months so ended up being two years to resolve , no wonder andy is not laughing , tough injury

Eating one handed is interesting :-)

They think I’ll get up to 40% movement back after the op, just need some patience, something I’m well known for :-)
Must be frustrating waiting for the operation , work hard at physio , do it at home as well as with the physio and you might get better tha 40% , really push it no matter how hard it is , time to dig in once the op is done

How long are they planning on keeping you at the care home ? Better than struggling at home xx

I’ve just had a word with the manager here and she’s going to speak to the hospital, been nearly 3 weeks since my accident x
Really past the point of fixing the fracture , they would have to crack it again to fix it or are they doing your rotator cuff ? that is an important thing to fix so you can get movement back

I've got a stanley knife, a hammer and nuts and bolts?

Bit of TCP and jobs done.

Did Paul give you my regards?

It sounds horrendous ......I twisted my ankle once and was crying like a baby. Yours must be serious pain.
