Question Time

The easiest conclusion for you to draw.

No doubt you’ll be scratching your head 18 months after the next election when you realise you’ve voted cretin again.

I will be sure to tell you who I have voted for.

My guess is it will be the same cretin as you.

Ok.

My (cretinous)vote will hopefully put Labour and Starmer into power.

The exact same as you I would have thought?

If not, no worries.
There’s a lot of water to go under the bridge as of yet.

No doubt Starmer will become a red under the bed and a Britain hater in the run up to the election. Then the swing voters will make their decision and make Truss our PM until 2030.

Audience Member: Will politicians ever admit they're wrong?

Bruce goes straight to Nandy.

Cox looks like he's wondering why he bothered showing up. I wonder how much if him was cut from the original debate.

Let the Tory speak. Speak over other guests. Same every week.

PS. Starting every answer with 'so' is (a) meaningless and (b) incredibly irritating and also (c) suggests that your starting position is to avoid the question.
PPS. I appreciate poor people to you are anyone worth less than 30M quid. You have no interest in anything other than hoovering up more loot, and avoiding tax via Gibraltar.
Disrespectful to the Cayman islands.

He may also have interests there, but Gibraltar was where a "family member" set up a company on exactly the same day that Zahawi was meant to get shares from YouGov. Instead of Zahawi getting them (and being taxed), the company in Gibraltar amazingly exactly the same number of shares (not being taxed).

£30M, I think, was the value quoted.

Ahh yes, the old 'enemy within' tactic favoured by despots and dictators for decades! A red under the bed, FFS?

It's kind of cute that Truss is labelling the detractors of her economically illiterate policies a 'coallition of anti growth', when the tories were at the vanguard of the single most destructive act to harm the UK, namely leaving the EU, that wiil prevent growth from happening.

I think you should have a look at how the support for the tories has collapsed in their traditional heartlands, the shires, where the elderly, traditional supporters of tory values no longer recognise them as the party they have supported for decades.

Given the collapse of just about every public service you care to mention over the last 12 years, it's the tories that protect us, but the leader of the oppostion that wants to right the wrongs of over a decade of mismanagement is the anti British one?

Nah. the balls in the tories court on that one.

Never underestimate the gullibility of the general public. They’ve voted against their best interests before and will do again.

"So," is the new "Well,"

There needs to be a concerted campaign to get Derbyshire doing it, who does have a bit of journalistic nous, rather than Bruce who as far as I can tell is a less than subtle shill for the tories. They need to do something to breath some life into it, I was a decades long watcher and now I regularly turn it off.

First question from Bruce... "Has politics got too nasty?"

No - just the nasty party.

I’m I missing something? The Tories have a very small footprint in Scotland yet they’re getting higher applause than the rest.

So many tonight are English. Let them have their referendum and if they want to go, let them, and just ensure that they have their part of the debt tagged along.

This bullshit is getting in the way of the real problems.

The debt the Tories have inflicted?

Next the argument will be that Scotland should not vote for independence because they can't afford to because they're sharing in the mess the Tory unionists have created.
