The Conservative Party

Coffey is amazingly unsuited to her given role
Really hoping this is just them hurling a dead cat on the table. If not, it's yet more evidence they represent an existential threat to our way of life and any chance of progressing our society. They need to be removed by any means possible.

Ben Wallace, one of the "sane" Tories is considering resigning over ****'s new budget cuts.

Interesting thread. Don’t think Truss mentioned any of this in her leadership bid, save to decry it all as ‘project fear’. Shameful that she’s not resigned

It backs up what we all said yesterday. Hunt’s at the wheel and Truss is the figurehead. It’s the only way he would have accepted the job, and the only way the Tories think they can retain any credibility at all. Can’t see it lasting long because Truss will continue to perform woefully in PMQs and whenever she faces the media.

Papers and news sites are already asking 'who is in charge?'

The more Hunt speaks the darker his prognosis, and the darker the picture he paints, the more it depicts Truss as someone who has been deluding herself but, much worse, lying to the public. Similarly, because she's such a poor communicator in public, she'll stop making appearances, which will only play into Hunt's hands and those who will soon assume control. Unsurprisingly, Hunt is on Kuenssberg's programme tomorrow.

Just remind me again. What would have been the dire consequences of electing Corbyn in 2019. We all need reminded just to better appreciate where we have benefited from these lot getting in instead.....

Honestly, the Labour infighting would have been as bad as what we are seeing now and the markets reaction similar to Corbyn and co.

In my opinion of course.

A worse situation politically I don’t think we could ever have imagined.
