And there in your post lies the problem, not once did I make it personal or use terms like “fuck off”. I haven’t defended the current incumbent government once but until we can have a debate without personally attacking anyone who has a different perspective we will only exacerbate the divide we now see. I never once was so childish as to say let’s all hold hands, what a pathetic response to what I said. I’m not some ideological brain fart, I own a business, employ over a hundred people and try where possible to put them first. Maybe there is a different way because our current system is broken.

But we could have predicted that a bunch of charlatans would make a pigs ear of dealing with the fallout.After all the decisions they made prior to covid and the war in Ukraine are a huge part of why this country is being affected more adversely.

Isn’t the U.K. the only economy of the G7 that hasn’t returned to pre pandemic levels. A war and covid will hurt an economy, however we have shot ourselves in the foot with brexit. Making it harder for businesses to export when we could be making use of the low value pound. Then add to that labour shortages, we really haven’t helped ourselves as a country with the damage that has been self inflicted.,

A Conservative PM made it personal. A Conservative PM told me in effect to ‘fuck off’, and ‘you don’t belong here’. You reckon that now the wheels have fallen off, I should just forgive and forget? No chance.

Conservatives and Brexiteers, divided this country and no attempt was made to even consider my viewpoint, or 48% of the country, or the majority wishes of Scotland and Northern Ireland, so yeah, we are divided, and until the people who divided us are removed from power and influence along with their ‘magic’ thinking and denial of reality, then divided we remain.

And no amount of mealy mouthed handwringing over this sorry state of affairs is changing it.

An apology, followed by ousting the fuckers who landed us here, and I might start thinking about it.

Do you stereotype everyone that has a mild disagreement with you?

They have made a pigs ear of it and this latest government are the most out of their depth I’ve ever seen… but predicting the future from 2019 and blaming voters from 3 years ago isn’t going to help.

They’ll be gone in 2 years and quite rightly.

The US went into recession before we have.

The issue with labour shortages in that projects were put on hold for 2 years and then all released at once, the population hasn’t decreased.

But I agree overall, putting Liz Truss in charge of the country at this time is a colossal act of self harm.

She’s an absolute fucking moron and wooden as a shed.

Blaming the voters from 2016 and 2019 may not help, but it would be correct. Hopefully they’ll be gone in a lot less than 2 years though.

Seriously? You want to count the number of times British PM’s boosted themselves over the Euro troubles, Merkel’s refugee crisis or just basically slagging off Greece as a lesson to us all?

Big countries slap the shit out of smaller countries because they can and because the country in trouble can’t answer back given they are in the shit.

Basically we are now Greece a decade or so ago, but with shittier weather.

I don't generally engage with you re politics because its pointless.

I've already agreed that nobody could predict the future.
And you're quite correct in that blaming the voters isn't helpful.
Maybe it'll be a wake up for people to stop putting up with lying twats and voting for them.
Not sure about the last point tbh.
