We can’t half fuck ourselves at times.

I said at half time that I was not liking how poor we looked to what was essentially long ball tactics. There is no way on fucking earth that Akanji, Dias and Ake should have been struggling against the cast of The Hobbit. As for the goal, Joao cannot, must not commit there. He has to let Salah bring the ball down and just jockey him. To commit as the last man there is bloody clueless defending.

No idea what Pep was thinking. Why you would take the most creative CM in world football and stick him wide right against a side whose midfield is almost laughable is beyond me. Gundo should never have started in a game that was always likely to be too fast for him.

It’s tactical decisions like today where we all know he could do exactly the same in a CL final (again) and fuck us. I love you Pep, but sometimes you’re too clever for your own fucking good.

This is the worst Liverpool team we have seen for years, they literally don’t have a midfield and yet our Anfield curse strikes again.

Well done Bernardo only player with some bottle today.
I’m just glad there were no injuries at the end.
Finally that **** klopp has been sent off.
What the fuck was Foden doing first half, our goal is the other direction not back towards our own defence.

Fucking shafted by VAR yet again and some complete fucking muppets on here pin the blame on the greatest manager in the game lol.

Shambles Cancelo. Never the same on the right!
I’ve said many times, he’s good going forward but cannot defend for toffee, he shouldn’t have been left one on one with Salah. He gets roasted by him most times so it was no surprise that he turned him for the breakaway goal.

Klopp and Mou thrive in the "us vs them" environment, That's not Pep's thing but he keeps letting Klopp pull him into those situations.

Pep's in his right mind when he is happy, he doesn't do well under pressure. He needs to forget about the media giving more credit to Klopp, they would never love you so why bother trying to prove a point to them? Why over think things?

Put your best team out, every player in their natural position then sit back and enjoy the fucking game!

Disappointing but not surprising. It doesn’t happen for us at Anfield. End of.

Still we used to lose to Stockport County now it’s Liverpool.

Still hopefully the story will have the usual happy ending. We don’t beat Liverpool but we do win the league.

Why the fuck do we not have a left-back again?

Say what you will about fucking Boehly but, and I'm not suggesting for a minute we'd be better off if he was in charge, if he had bought the club in the summer a left back would've been through the door in two weeks tops even if it cost 60m. It's horrendous that we find ourselves having to do this bizarre Wallace and Gromit shit at Anfield of all places to compensate for the fact that one of the eleven positions on the pitch is fundamentally unrepresented.

On the other hand we're obviously the best side in the league and we'll win it eventually, but it's exactly these kinds of games that cost us the CL.

Dire 1st half. Obvious from the off Liverpool was happy with a 0-0 and our lethargic and passive approach played right into their hands. Gave too much respect for a team bang out of form.

Why was cancello last man when he’s the. Most suspect defender we have would like to have seen Dias as last man but alas we bottle it again

We had as many if not more chances as them and have matched or bettered them most of the time but they have had to put in a full effort though, you could say Peps tinkering, Citys softness, shit VAR decisions and fucking Cancello cost us, because they did.

They had to go crystal palace or southampton on us and put in 110% effort.

Typical Anfield trip
Trouble is you can say we're soft, but I blame the refs. Teams always get away with it, we don't. You can't allow the game to "flow" if it means you're getting kicked around the park. A foul is a foul, our goal was disallowed for a soft one yet plenty others were let go on both sides. No consistency.

I hope the murderers see the irony in constantly greeting about our spending yet they happily chucked currency at Pep in the second half.
Sure that will be hushed up. Bad for the brand.....

Perfect ref for the product in the everso compliant alti.

Poor in spells but with some nice moves. Too many poor performances against these game raising twats. Poor tactics too from baldy! Bernie you da man.

No matter what we say when they’re up for it like they are against us their ground is best and most hostile in the country, every ex top player says it’s the toughest place to go
The crowd and players are charged up to fuck and they’ve got a lot of quality players
Some of our players always fold there and it’s probably the hardest place in the world to get a win
It’s not on Pep, he’s not overthought anything, we just got beat by a very good side at their most up for it

On the players, I’m devastated for Silva to put in that performance and lose, Foden crumbled and shit himself, Cancelo was Awful, KDB should be seasoned and confident enough to realise it’s not just any game or situation and just go and get himself on the ball
Rodri meh, Gundo meh

Foden should’ve been off at 50 mins and Grealish on
