Gundo never plays well in these games, he lacks the pace and stamina. He's much better against teams that sit back. Cancelo was sat at RW for most of the game and did absolutely nothing.

Another case of Pep fucking with the team for a big game and our players out there looking a bit lost. Pretty much the only negative to him being our manager, so we take it on the chin and move on.

Gundo was fine. Don't get that take at all. The problems were not have a right forward, its so dumb to tinker with a system that literally wins every game.

A header completely alone with a great pass is not a great chance?
A shooting 20 m at the center with no defender around on your strong leg is not a good chance?

Pep ball works unless you're opponent fights harder than you. Pep is not a Cup Manager, Klopp is.
We don't have the character to take what they throw at is and give it back.
Playing Gundogan in this and KDB out wide was plain daft. Who the hell in our defence didn't look at Cancelo as the last man on Salah and think 'that could be a problem' .
Klopp made the changes to up the tempo and Pep sat on his hands again.

The players who are normally reliable were poor today. Bernardo ran around like a maniac today but actually contributed very little.
KDB was poor, his 2nd half showing was well below par and that dreadful free kick that turned out to be an assist summed up his showing, should have been hooked after an hour. Not having a great season so far.
Cancelo is great going forward but is an average defender who seems more interested in his own personal post-career highlights reel than acting in the best interests of the team....WTF he was trying to do for their winner was beyond comprehension....play it safe you clown.
Great effort from Ederson to keep us in the game.
Akanji looked out of his depth that 2nd half.
Milner had the easiest 90 minutes he'll have in a long while, why Phil constantly turned back instead of taking him on.
Gundo bad 1st half but much better 2nd half.
Joke to rule out our goal but no great surprise.
I hope Pep and City come out and call out some of the shite that went on there today.
Very disappointing, their only chances came from repeated mistakes from our back 4 on the half way line.

Even if Liverpool only show up when they play us, it’s about fck time we show we are better and up for it by winning. Again we didn’t and bottle it.
Today it was plain evidence we are bottlers and I would go as far as this is the new “typical City”.

We worked hard but every single member of this squad is simply the perfect son in law. And in games like this it’s just not good enough.

We probably win the league and make fun of Liverpool. We have been the best team for over a decade. Yet we hardly are able to beat this lot. We bottled it. Again!!

Liverpool vs City reminds me of United vs Liverpool in the 80s. United win the fixture, Liverpool win the titles.
