Liz Truss

I don't know mate, difficult that, the boys in 22 volunteered.
The boys in 82 joined the Armed Forces and swore allegiance to defend Britain’s interests off their own free will too.

They weren’t forced.

By what right did the Brits own the Falklands?
By the fact not a soul lived there when the Spanish gave us the territory and then the huge fact the people inhabiting the islands now have voted over 99% to remain British.

It’s recognised internationally as British territory, other than Argentina, who’s only argument is ‘well it’s closer to us’, because they’ve realised there’s oil there.

Now can you tell me why we don’t have the right?

Well let's start, it's on the other side of the world.
And?

Ireland is right next to Britain, it doesn’t mean diddly squat if the people don’t want to be part of it.

It was legally given to Britain before Argentina was even a country and its in the middle of the ocean, not really near anyone…and the first people to ever inhabit the island want to remain British.

What do you suggest should happen?
