Wishful thinking. Nothing would change. We'd end up where we are now, but with nothing but shitty coverage of fluffy promises on all sides and nobody doing anything for months. Wouldn't achieve anything.

They were voted in on a manifesto and mandate, one leader just tried to rup that up, this ine may well do the same.

One leadership change because of skulldugery and shenanigans from Johnson fair enough, another change because a minority chose an idiot who couldn't last two months and the electorate should have a say.

But why give one party the benefit of the doubt all the time?
Kick 'em out and give the other side a chance to fcuk it up I say!

The main difference was that he said he would wait till inflation went down before cutting taxes. Truss crashed the markets not with excessively crazy policies, but by going fast with the tax cuts from even more borrowing. In either case it’s a gamble and I think the Johnson camp are now playing a bit of a longer game in hoping the party slump in the pre election polls…so he can sweep in and make it all better.


The Green Party and Labour are both calling for a GE…..potentially they could force a vote of no confidence in Sunak, triggering a GE if they win….I don’t know if there is convention to how long they wait before doing that.
 
Try and picture Sunak in a War Room...or operations room during 9/11...or ANY major incident...as the person leading and making the important decisions

Don't think so.
In fact our economic performance post pandemic is much lower than eurozone and USA.
He predicted Truss's fairytale economics? Christ,anyone with half a brain could have!
And you're right there isn't much else.

I literally watched him on the ITV debates saying we shouldn’t cut tax.
