You liked him because he handed out money during covid.
But other countries did this.
In fact they had to.
I remember at the beginning of the covid crisis he started off by giving help to businesses only and had to be dragged back to parliament before he would announce measures for the ordinary punter.
It is alleged he was also against lockdown before the second covid wave and of course there were his 'dishes'!
 
None of his appointments make sense. There’s hundreds of backbench Tory MPs, why is it always the same people?
 
By reappointing the nutters, he's trying to disarm the revolting members.

They haven't which obviously leads to the justified suspicion that they didn't put in proper checks and controls even allowing for time deadlines.
The onus to account for the losses lies with them not the critics.
They haven't done this,hiding instead behind a catch all excuse.

No issue whatsoever with a properly independent enquiry that doesn’t look to score cheap political points. Nor should the government so I take your point. It should review what happened, what should have happened (because we know the government didn’t get everything right) and ensures we learn and get a plan in place for the next pandemic.

Think he’s made two big ones, Zahawi and Braverman. The latter, given also how it panned out with Johnson last week, I imagine will speed up his already inevitable downfall.
 
Whatever happened to the compassion he was on about earler in the day and his all inclusive appeal to the nation speech he gave two hours ago.
He's just appointed Suella FFS and the usual bunch of dead beats and has beens!
