Have to say the whole Gabriel/Henderson thing is perhaps a sad reflection on society in general.
Their is the image from this , in the fact that an allegation has been made and then seemingly discarded, that nothing is done when unacceptable language is used.
But then you can have the view that this is just an, all so "woke" storm in a tea cup.
And why? Partly because we dont even know what is alleged to have been said, the language issue in translation and cultural norms.
The fact that it is also solely one persons word against anothers obviously doesnt help.
But.....why have the FA/PL not taken the opportunity to actually do something pro-active about this?
Why not get both parties together, make a statement, a press conference, highlight the issue once again, demonstrate that its something that is taken seriously no matter what. That all allegations will rightly be investigated.
But then, when have the FA/PL ever done anythign that was sensible or transparent to the general football fan.

You are not a scouser, your a Liverpudlian there's a world of difference. Fortunately most people in Liverpool are Liverpudlians.
Don't tell people like John that - how do their minds work?
He speaks of liverpool just being attached to England - bit like his brain which is not functioning but is attached to his skull.

He's a fucking idiot. It's like the kid in school wanting to be edgy and different because he thinks it makes him look cool. My in laws are all scouse (mostly evertonian, from bootle) and think this scouse not english is the biggest load of bollocks ever.

No to touch line ban for Klopp. £30K fine. Surprised. Not! Any other PL would have got a one match ban at the least.
There is zero point in fining millionaires £30k, which his fetid employers will pay anyway. He continuously slanders clubs, berates, abuses and intimidates officials, in pre match press conferences and at games, he does it all on behalf of the scum he works for. The only effective deterrent for such repeat offenders is a points deduction for the club, it would cease it immediately. But as intimidation is way down the list of what they have done, condone and glory in, without any sanction, dream on.

Agreed Carlito............it was just the "fair weather" and Klopp comments. If things drop off when Pep goes and struggling to get a CL spot becomes the norm, how will it look then? Spouting off about things like that can just as easily happen here. I'd rather just get on and enjoy what is available now and not worry about what others are doing, have done or are going to do.

When did we miss out on champions league once we got in?

If I said scouse not english to any of my mates they'd laugh their bollocks off. It's like most things with them, they just accept whatever rhetoric is forced upon them. They definitely don't represent the blue half with all of it ( though a few of ours may agree with them). Sad thing is John is probably in his 50s/60s and has never seen the inside of Anfield.
It all ties in with their faux socialist ideals and anti tory mantra. And people like Jamie Webster/ Paddy Pimblett and various other low rate celebs us it to court popularity.

One might as well say 'Manc not English'.

It would be just as meaningful. I'd be very surprised if any Mancunian was pure English back, say, six generations. A very large percentage of us have Irish ancestors, just for starters.

I think it's all part of a desire to make LFC seem terrific, unique, and different. And it's about 99% bollocks.

The facts appear to backfire on your comment.

In the 12 years prior to 2000, the highest average attendance was 28,273, compared to 43,321 for the Dippers.

Once the difficult days became history, ownership changed, Pep arrived and success became more consistent, that average has shot up to 54,219.

Fairweather fans?

Similar to your point regarding Klopp, when the time comes for Pep to depart, it will be interesting to see what happens to the support then.

The teams to admire are the ones who are not so successful, yet every week their fans turn out in large numbers in all weathers to support them.

They have more supporters in London than they do in in Liverpool, why is that? Because they are the most successful club in English football. They were nothing crowd wise until Littlewoods started pumping money in, for a good 40 years they have never seen hard times. In this period we were good towards the end of the 70s and then sunk towards the depths of division 2 in that time then came back again.

As a group of supporters they don’t have the ability to laugh at themselves like City do. The only reason the majority support them is because they can sit in pubs in Rhyl and Warrington giving it the 6 times bollocks. They don’t enjoy football they only enjoy in basking in the reflected glory.

As for the point Re Klopp, they’ve all come out of the woodwork in the last 4 years. I see more kids knocking around in Liverpool shirts than there are in United shirts where I am. They’ve got giddy again thinking it’s the 1980s.

They all started deserting under Hodgson, if they had to endure what we did between the 80s until 1999 would the ‘spirit of shankley’ be handing out loads of their shit flags on the kop for their staged Ynwa sing a long every other Saturday?

Bloody hell, I bet they're getting a shock this season. My hubby and I watch the football (yeah, I'll sometimes watch Liverpool when they're playing if he's got it on and he's not actually gone to Anfield) and you never know where Liverpool's next win is coming from. They've been absolute bollocks this season. Seem to be doing alright in the UCL though.
