Fulham (H) | PL | Post-Match

Rubbish :)
That is such a wasted comment. Rubbish? What was? You, your lazy comment? The team? The referee? I have to deal with people like you alll day long that make my life more complicated than it needs to be. If you're going to make a comment, please, please give us some context - otherwise it means absotely cock-all. I've been as polite as
i can be.

Some monumental performances today. That was a big result. It was brilliant to see the reaction from the players & Pep at the final whistle.

Really proud of the way they played with 10 men for so long.

Some people near me were leaving with 15 mins to go. Fuck knows why they even bother going if a game like that doesn't make you want to stay until the end.

I don't think so.

I thought he was awful, and for large parts of the game pretty much anonymous, he doesn't actually attack, always looking for the safe pass to the side or backwards, and he does nothing to help defensively.

He should have been removed at half time for me, he's had a couple of decent games recently, but he simply doesn't do enough often enough, and sometimes goes into hiding (second half today).

If he makes the world cup squad on this form it's laughable (not that I care either way).
His defensive skills are even worse, he is happy to mark the space and keep looking behind than do the work of 10 men like all the others, looks like a fish out of water.

It's rare I agree with MoTD pundits, but I also thought our 9 men were excellent today against their 12.

Bernardo, Alvarez, KdB, Stones, and Ake were excellent.

Cancelo made a stupid decision, Grealish was better once he'd gone off.
Rodri was immense and best on the park for me.

What an outstanding performance that was. To dominate a PL fixture with ten men was freakishly good and to do it with such compelling desire, skill and tactical nous brought immense pride. We played like a whole squad of City fans, such was the drive to win the game, and the response to each player's efforts showed what togetherness is. We were scintillating, from back to front, but Rodri, Stones and KDB were just impeccable, with Bernardo and Gundo joining in. What Pep has done with the team spirit we have is incredible.

Tbf wasn’t exactly a great pen! prob should have saved it! Thankfully Leno dived over the ball
Think his diving to early cost him the save I think if he dives a split second later he saves it ,but we deserved a bit of luck.

Erling Haaland felt nerves - he felt them and spoke them as a City fan. Wow. He's ridiculous and we are lucky to have him
At the end of the game, Haaland is running around hugging everybody, saluting the fans with Pep and looking every inch a player that doesn't care about City and wants to go to Real Madrid in two seasons. I bet that pisses off the likes of Jamie O'hara with his Haaland is too big for City comments.

People really get their knickers in a twist about going down easy in the box. Of course you go down if you're touched. Players get whacked/fouled and stay on their feet and never get the penalty so unless the refs grow a pair and give those then you're going to go down aren't you
Sterling used to go down in the box (justifiably imo) yet most shouts were waved away. (He also stayed on hisfeet a few times and that didn't work either!)
So going down doesn't always work out.
I hope ĺRaz bags the winner today btw,

Alvarez really great yeah. Bernardo unfortunately I guess, because of his wife etc, will not sign a new one and that would be a huge loss if it happens :(
He has adapted to Pep style excellently and is one of the greatest gears in our engine, even though his attacking contributions(goals+assists) are not that great.
Bernie should get a new wife....

From the other angle it looks a clear penalty.
You could say the reffing was consistent today. Both Fulham and CITY pens looked a bit soft.
Overall the ref seemed overawed by the match and talent on display. He got a few calls wrong though - if in doubt give the free kick to Fulham.

Just in the car and feeling great.

What a team we have, nearly 70 minutes with 10 men and we controlled it and eventually got a deserved win.

If I was a Fulham fan I'd be embarrassed by that shit show....fucking embarrassing.

Well played City and that ref Darren English can fook off the cheating ****.
The ref was out of his depth.

Both Fulham and CITY pens looked a bit soft.
Fulham pen was a stonewaller, Cancelo was clumsy.

Kev's was a pen, the problem is that refs never bring back play to award the pen if a player stays on his feet and no goal results from the advantage, so there's no incentive for players to keep their feet.

Don't know about you lot, but I fucking love it that their keeper got a hand to it, and 'almost kept out' the penalty.

Hurts the bitter so much more that way.
