Anyone remember sarcy songs when we were so poor aimed at the opposition?

On 22/10/1980 Spurs came to Maine Road and we were yet to win a game under Malcom

I remember we went 3-0 up much to every onr's astonishment

Then the song belted out from the Kippax.

"Oh Tottenham Hotspur the only football team to lose in Manchester"

Classic.

Anyone else remember Songs like this taking the piss?

Seem to remember one of the games where arsenal were out of sight after 30 mins, we 'swapped' songs with their away fans, singing a couple of each others songs. That was in the days when we posed no threat so their fans used to phone in to 606 to say they liked us, wasn't too long after that the soft twats were seeing their arses about us though was it.

You should have stayed in the Woolpack, to any traveling Yorkshire fans.

I can't remember the team we played, but they turned up to Maine Road with about 60 fans and we sang "You must have come in a taxi".....Very funny back then.

Remember my Dad talking about the Osgood no good chant against the old Chelsea player Peter Osgood.

Apparently Peter did not take it well and it became a major problem and irritation to him.
I was at that match. It was in the 60's at Maine Road, I think our first season back in the old 1st Div under Joe & Big Mal. The Chelsea fans were singing 'Osgood IS good, Osgood IS good'. To which the Kippax responded 'Osgood NO good, Osgood NO good'

Osgood gave 2 V-signs to the Kippax, and had the last laugh as City lost. TBF he WAS good that afternoon.
