Yh I get that but they have been saying all the way through they want the African teams to do well & have been calling Morocco an African team all the way through but now they are making headlines they are calling them an Arab team.

Constant pushing & changing of the narrative.

How can statements of cultural & geographical fact be changing a narrative?

Morocco is in North African, sat between the Western Sahara and Algeria.
It’s also an Arabic nation, it’s Islamic and it’s official languages are Arabic and Berber. So it’s Arabic by culture and African by physical placement.
There’s no conflict in that and being Arabic and African isn’t exclusive to Morocco either.

So it's Africa?
 
In city news its been a brilliant day for us, 8 players back a week earlier than expected today, stones injured by the looks of it but its our strongest area, we can cope with an injury there. Only 1 player there until the end. Great news for us blues.

They were all expected back today to be fair, Spain bt Port, Fran bt Eng was what the odd said before the WC for the 10th Dec.

But If that had happened then Rodri and laporte would still be there.

16 players went there, at the start of the tournament we expected all 16 to make the knockouts, bonus that only 14 made it.

Then depending on the draw, we expected a good portion of those to make the semi's. of all the favourite teams to go far, France were the only team with no city representatives, there's no way we expected just 1 to make it to the semi finals.

Aside from that late apparent stones injury, its panned out much better than any of us could have hoped for in terms of getting players back as soon as possible.
 
Pep said Argentina would win it some time ago, I remember Alvarez saying that they were all talking about WC at City training and Pep was asked who he thought would win and he pointed at Alvarez. Does anyone else remember this?

I hope Argentina win it now, for Alvarez. Hope he scores in both the semi and final. Would be good to have a current world cup winner at the Etihad.

. . . and while you struggle with the notion of those two things being together, the only conflict is the one that's in your head.

It would be easy for me to say that if you had two brain cells that worked in tandem (like being both African and Arabic do) then the concept would be easy for you to grasp, but I think there's maybe a bit more about you than that.

So, is it that you didn't study geography, and the concept of cultures and places being shared is suddenly spinning your bonce? If so then I advise that you should read up until you're comfortable with the basics.
Or is it that you're acting like a twat because you're a racist and the notion of a whole nation of 38 million people being both Arabic and African is overloading the 99% of your thoughts that deal with things you just hate for no reason other than that they're not like you?

I like to think the former, and that you're a good bloke who's confused (read up my friend), but if you're the latter then you can fuck right off because you'll get little sympathy from the decent folk who use this forum.
 
After the sportsmanship showed by Argentinan players after their game Vs the Netherlands I hope for every other winner. These scumbags need a humbling beating instead of silverware. This includes Messi.
