Ever, I don’t know.

But I thought de Bruyne was noticeably fat when he came back from two injuries he got at the Euros and an operation at the start of last season.

His performances showed it n’all. Don’t think he played well until the Chelsea home game in the New Year.

He deserves criticism for coming back overweight, but like yourself I think it is time to move on. Hopefully if he stays fit he can prove to us all why City signed him.

We’ll never know I guess mate? Hopefully now though it gets sorted as I was chuffed when we signed Phillips and think if he gets his head sorted and buys into what Pep wants he could be a valuable member of the squad
