Pep got away with that big time.

Worst performance under Pep in the first half by a long way.

He changed the formation in the second half and immediately better.....Bernardo and Foden immediately getting at their fullbacks and getting in behind the fullbacks...KDB even though off a little still was better (he couldnt have been much worse). Rodri looked so much more comfortable.

Chelsea were truly poor ....if we dont get a lot better we dont deserve to win the league.

Pep needs to stop fuckign around with formations

First half he played the team the fans for moaning for. Second half he played the team he wanted and we won.

I note that the Grealish Mahrez boo boys, who celebrated their benching, disappeared ‘as if by magic’ when they came on and changed the game so effectively.

Unsure why the first half performance so off? Then we came out for the second half much better, after a couple of changes, then a couple more and a goal and then we went back to square one.
Anyway, three points was the mission before kick off and that’s what we got, so pleased with the outcome.

Not a happy clapper but always a very happy clapper with this class team. Very hard fought victory against a stubborn Chelsea team. Well done all.

Shocking from a few of our players and a very poor performance again but a welcome 3 points.

Personally I think trying to fit KDB and Haaland in is costing us overall, despite their individual brilliance.

Foden, Cancelo, KDB all pretty shockingly bad but I suspect that is more down to formation.

Would like to see us try a midfield 3 of Rodri, Bernardo and Foden with Mahrez and Grealish wide and proper full backs. Need some legs in midfield. Rodri can't do it all on his own.

John Stones was world class.

Rico Lewis should be starting for the foreseeable.

Grealish is starting to get there.

Really poor performance, particularly in the first half, but a big three points. This Chelsea team are poor, but it’s never an easy place to go. Need to be a lot better at Old Trafford though.

It was far from pretty but got the all-important 3 points.

What worries me most is the ease at which the opposition can get through us in the middle of the park. Gundo and KDB are like statues when we don’t have the ball and the pair of them weren’t much better on the ball tonight.

The subs changed the game but the cynic in me thinks Pep played it that way with what he said pre-match. Finally the Grealish/Mahrez partnership produces.

Massive 3 points . You have to grind it out when you’re not playing well to be Champions . And whatever pep did with those substitutions it got us the goal !
