That first half formation and performance was worst I have ever seen. Good thing is this Chelsea side is bad.We also had a post, Haaland 1v1, Haaland not getting to a KDB cross by inches, a Cancelo shoot blocked by Kepa and a Kdb chance. So who was truly lucky?
He did say that in the interview when asked why he is playing walker, cancelo and foden. I quote " because this is the team fans want"I reckon this is in supporter's heads more than anything. Pep didn't get us this far by risking points for the sake of being a smart arse to the fans.

Yes but he played them in some weird formation. They were clueless as hellTo be fair the team he picked, was the team most fans wanted. Subs made a difference. Stones was great and Rodri his normal 8 of 10 rest struggled a bit.
I don't like that.I think he was proving a point. Fans XI vs Pep's XI
I agree. That first half was crazy.
Half the side didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. It ended up being 45 minutes wasted.
He made good early positive changes and went back to what he feels comfortable with.We won,not convincingly, but we won,and his Subs were involved.
Not sure what is wrong with us at the moment. We just dont look right, or feel right.Despite the win.
We look unfit at the moment. No idea why this is.Half the side were dead on their feet at the end.KDB has looked unfit for a good while despite his Worldy Goals.Gundogan looks old.
I think this is clear. For every season the fitness of the squad fluctuates, and managers decide when the peaks are going to be.That first half was crazy.

I have to agree re fitness. Kevin and Gundy looked very tired. Hopefully rested until the United game as we need them to be at their bestThat first half was crazy.

And you actually believed him?He did say that in the interview when asked why he is playing walker, cancelo and foden. I quote " because this is the team fans want"
Not sure he got the personnel wrong but I definitely thought he got the formation wrong. It was if he was setting us up for a fail, which I don't actually believe. If we are to win this again we need to be better than we have been in the last 5 games. Good win though after all that moaning.Ful credit to Pep ,he got it wrong first half , changed personnel and tactics and got his rewards , a managerial masterclass , and why he is simply the best
That was not a fans XII think he was proving a point. Fans XI vs Pep's XI
Well Yes. He has a big ego. Won't be surprised if he did thatAnd you actually believed him?
