Of course. I agree but things won’t ever go how we wish.

This is also a ground that City have somewhat erratic games regardless of Southampton’s form.
Pffft you are an optimist i'll give you that. This is the worst game i've seen under pep since 2016.

The worst thing is that if you call out the bad performances, you'll get a wave of people calling you plastic. Enough with the false positivity! Players need to be sold or bought ASAP

He’s been knocking about the first team for quite a while now. If he was going to emerge as good enough it would have happened by now.
Maybe that's true. Not every youth player gets to become a starter. It's not 2005 anymore. The team is a much higher calibre.

On the other hand, he is only 20 so I'm not calling time on him just yet, but if I had to choose right now, i don't see him being a long term option.

Utd are better than these & they will work much harder. If I’m honest I don’t see how we beat Utd right now. We are not fit or strong enough this season.

Normally Pep protects the players after games. He’ll say we played great even when we didn’t, to protect them. This interview might be different.
They need calling out, he’s not entirely blameless but the player’s effort has been shit all season long.
