Cancelo does not deserve a start, no longer our best left back. Besides Rashford or Anthony will rip him a new one. Ake to start instead. Not sure on Grealish either. Being a Manc derby I'd put Foden in. He can handle two games in a week.
 
I was looking for this up until 10pm tonight. I hope we find some sort of form going into the game.

If Gundo and Kev start together in midfield I’m not watching, it’ll be horrific.

I like akanji and ake and feel both are worthy of a start, but not sure about them together.

Remember Pep has sone ridiculous ideas buzzing around in his head,so predicting this line up,well it be easier picking lotto numbers for Saturday night I’m afraid

Walker will start for his pace against Rashford,that’s a deffo,as good as Lewis has been he’s not quick that’s about all I can predict apart from Ederson in goal
 
First time I've thought we were truly in danger of taking a derby lesson since whiskey nose stumbled off into the sunset. We're just not at it. But, it could also be the turning point for us.

Pressing, forward passes, attacking football and some service to haaland please. Enough with the slow, plodding, backwards passing drudgery, I beg.

Walker was playing cb. He was brilliant against chelsea in a traditional right back role.

I think Cancelo is out the question he's been awful of late. Personally I think we've two that's pretty much nailed on to start at the back and that's Stones at CB and Ake at LB.

So it's either Lewis or Walker for RB
Akanji or Laporte for CB.

Then again knowing Pep it could be Phil Foden as a wing back again!
 
The way pep is funking around and the way the players are playing we will lose...that Chelsea win has given everyone a false sense of security...Chelsea were truly shit and we are well off anywhere near our best but they made us look good.

Can only see us losing this one.

After pep talking about body language the biggest culprit of that at present is KDB.. as good as he us his attitude at the moment is very questionable. Cancello is another one

Has to be the team and in a traditional 4-3-3 not some big brain formation with half the team out of position confusing ourselves more than the opponents.

I'm far more worried about Pep than I am united for this.
 
Love him, but Pep doesn't do himself or the team any good when he publicly suggests he will try something different. Thats precisely why the team is having a tough time this season. Too much tinkering.

Part of me thinks he'll play Walker to stop Rashford and the other part of me thinks Ake is going to play at left back do he's going to be looking at the inverted full back role on the right, Rico has been tremendous doing it of late.

Then again I've tried to guess a Pep team for the last 6 years and still didn't manage it!
