if people think pep will change from his style to suit any player then they don't know peps way, players we buy have to adapt to peps way not the other way round, people going on its not working weren't saying that before the world cup when our "brett angel ffs" banged in 27 goals , and we were free scoring, we've looked off it since the world cup,think the passing more than anything.
pep will tweak things to counter the counter attack ,and if he thinks we need more passes the players will be asked to do that, and if they don't follow his instructions they they wont play, i would like to see that early ball over the top now and again as well.
the football we play creates the atmosphere in the stadium, generally its flat, reason being we pass teams to death with little risk ,the only risk we generally have is the counter attack, hence peps pass pass pass, think he said 15 passes stops the counter or something similar, if we were an up and at them type of team all guns roaring our atmosphere would mirror this.
peps way is peps way, he wins trophies ,but he does it his way, you either like it or you don't, i like the trophies ,i like the quick pass and move, i don't like the constant pass back across up the wing pass back, but that is the process pep uses and 95% of the time it works.
i trust pep will sort our form issues out, we will click into gear, in a way it feels like a start to the season when we haven't had a great pre season, pep changes the team ,gets all the players up to speed then off we go, got a feeling we will click and on we go on a long winning run, and imo in might just net us a couple of big trophies
