Adverts that drive you mad

Mobile phone ads - all of em.
"Oooerrrrrrrrrrrrrr teh' and that vacuous smiley voiced Vodafone cringe. Oh and that EE one where they land a plane from a living room - so what? I only want to make a call.

Special mention to McDonald's too - insidiously trying to ingratiate themselves into the fabric of society, like an emergency service we couldn't live without.

That "I just sold my car " to we buy any car advert fucking everywhere !
I have now strangely taken to both the (is he the original?) black guy…

…and at least for one viewing, even the new old guy.
He was in the end a bit of a letdown though. I was expecting him to be almost as good a dancer, and thus, set a new benchmark for the iconic R Whites lemonade ‘repeat with someone unexpected’ format.

But no. Ronnie Corbett still reigns supreme.

The one that annoy’s me is the lad selling a burglar alarm I had to turn over at the first sign of the ad. Couldn’t stand how he used to say
“We aim to protect” no you don’t you want to sell me a burglar alarm
Cringe he was recently relegated to putting up the sign

That advert for holidays where the young girl's ice cream falls on the floor and her fat brother takes the piss
I'm waiting for the follow up ad where she pushes his ice cream into the fat ****'s face

Yeah the on beach ad, that kid needs to leave food alone for a while

The whole of that fictitious family seem annoying & obnoxious. Wouldn't want to be stuck on a flight or in a resort with them!

A dating site for over 50's that's been hammered to death, featuring a brace of aged ones in an art gallery.

She thinks he's pure brilliant because he can impersonate a piccaso painting, but in reality he's probably a serial killing sausage lurking for elderly victims. As Off Topic is akin to Cocoon, all I can say is be careful, and let a moderator or other responsible adult know where you're going first.

Mrs laser has to look away now when this is on because it drives her nuts.

Every time I see that smug, unfunny twat's fizzog I get the urge to put my foot through the screen though, looking at her, they probably deserve each other.
In fairness to the ad agencies, a violent reaction is better than no reaction at all because it proves people have taken notice. If you're old enough to remember the Cinzano adverts featuring Leonard Rossiter and Joan Collins, some research was carried out which showed that, while viewers' responses were generally favourable towards them, they couldn't recall the product being advertised! Consequently, the campaign failed to fulfil its primary purpose.

Haha I always thought it was Martini. The Cinzano ones have to be up there in any top ten adverts through the decades.
