seeing Eubank the day the Benn fight was called off he looked ill and grey he had cut so much weight, I think putting your body through that especially at his age can have a lasting effect
Never seen him rocked before Nevermind completely separated from his senses
It’s funny cos the man in his corner Roy Jones was also never the same after a huge weight cut he should never have done and again a man who had previously seemed solid in holding a shot looked fragile

Eubank is a very good middleweight. In the top 10 in the world by just about anyone’s reckoning. ( before yesterday at least ) It’s not his fault he isn’t his dad. Some fans seem to use a measure of boxers that isn’t applied to any other sport. That if you’re not the best in the world, you’re shit.

All the way down to ‘journey men’, who I have the utmost respect for, it takes a lot more bollocks to take a fight knowing you’re likely going to get a pasting, than it does knowing you’re likely to be the one giving it out, they deserve as much respect as anyone.

He's not a good fighter, Zero head movement, Constantly flat footed is probably his biggest concern. He has three defeats now Billy Joe Saunders, Liam Smith and the one people tend to forget is George Groves who had a dislocated shoulder and beat him with one arm that night not only beat him but dismantled him. The fight would have went the same way last night as Smith gets better as thee rounds go on. Smith will spank him again in the rematch.

The point people are making is that he is relatively shit, and by that they mean that considering the hype and the coverage he gets he should be a lot better.

I have every respect for people who stand there and get punched in the face for a living but better boxers than Eubank have had little to no coverage compared to his leg up, carefully managed crappy boxers can go a long way in the boxing game.

Billy Joe is a brilliant fighter and George Groves was a true Super-Middleweight and a really talented one at that. He's a really good fighter, is he a great fighter? Nah.

Groves was a brilliant fighter and as you said a true Super-Middleweight but the fact is he was fighting Eubank with his left arm dangling and still dishing out a lesson to Eubank.

I just don't see it with Eubank I think he's bang average, I don't think you can put anyone down as a really good fighter with victories against Williams, O'Sullivan, Abraham, Morriston ect He's come up against three seriously good boxers in his entire career Smith, Groves and Saunders and beaten in all three.

I don't know where he goes from here, Prince Naseem was right all that time ago, Time to hang the gloves up before he gets hurt badly.

Well Eubank started the gay topic a week or two earlier insinuating that Smith was gay, saying “what kind of man slides into another man’s DM’s”

The reality is I think they were just both being juvenile. I don’t think they meant any major harm when they said it but it never comes across well

Well we all have our own personal definition of what we consider “good” By most fair definitions I’d consider someone who is in the top 10 people on earth at what they do in their category as pretty good. Doesn’t mean you can’t have limitations.

We all know Eubank isn’t getting within a million miles of headlining a PPV event and selling out the Arena without his name. But that’s hardly on him. If punters are prepared to pay, what’s he gonna do, insist the fight goes on at The York Hall on a Wednesday night?
