Yeah, that happened to me.

Within two minutes there were three times when she let him get away with not answering the questions she put. She might as well not have bothered.
Looked like she’d just got in. Poor imitation of a political program. She’s the Gary Chuckle of political broadcasters.

Is she acting as a Tory spokesperson?

She challenged him on a number of things he tried rattling off, and tried to get him to answer a direct question. Not a lot to be done if he won't.

Given the guff he was regurgitating, it would have still been on his first question by the time his interview slot ran out.
The shredding of almost anything he said by the studio panel (as quoted above) was fairly brutal.

These twats are expert at evading questions that they don't want to answer , rather than admit the truth .

How many Tory ministers, including the PM and every one of the cabinet ministers have refused to apologise for the state of the country's finances created by the fuck up mini - budget proposed by that ignorant **** Liz Truss ?

Er ...........actually none of the bastards !

I thought she was excellent on constantly challenging his ficticiuos statistics - she just wouldn't let it lie and it became clear he wasn't prepared to let the party line go, hence stalemate - good solid interviewing

Head of Tescos, Rachel Johnson and IBS on the panel, talk about a balanced political spectrum of opinion.

Tesco Man was pretty evenhanded and praised Labour.
Johnson doesn't appear to be a fan of Zahawi's actions.
IDS is pointless.

What was noticeable was that Cleverley lived down to his name and had arranged to know nothing about Zahawi despite coming on with it as the main story. He just looked thick as a result.
I particularly liked "the public don't have their taxes publicised, and we keep being told that they want politicians treated the same as the public, so why should all politicians have their taxes publicised" - because you're the ones making and leaning on the law, you utter plank.

Additionally Tesco Man criticised the bonfire of the EU laws ideas. He said by all means cancel those which make a clear difference, but the current plan is insane.

Kuennsberg finished by saying that a cabinet minister had told her that they believe Zahawi will be gone soon.
