Additionally Tesco Man criticised the bonfire of the EU laws ideas. He said by all means cancel those which make a clear difference, but the current plan is insane.

Kuennsberg finished by saying that a cabinet minister had told her that they believe Zahawi will be gone soon.
To be replaced by another corrupt tory

Tesco Man was pretty evenhanded and praised Labour.
Johnson doesn't appear to be a fan of Zahawi's actions.
IDS is pointless.

What was noticeable was that Cleverley lived down to his name and had arranged to know nothing about Zahawi despite coming on with it as the main story. He just looked thick as a result.
I particularly liked "the public don't have their taxes publicised, and we keep being told that they want politicians treated the same as the public, so why should all politicians have their taxes publicised" - because you're the ones making and leaning on the law, you utter plank.
Rachel Johnson on claimed tax forms ard quite hard to fill in so she wouldn’t outright condemn Nadim Zahawi for his £5m mistake, also tried to blame the Civil Service for her brothers antics.

John Allan unapolagetically admitted to proffiteering (though with the clubcard con we knew this)

IDS is a **** and imho should be in jail for manslaughter so I zoned out when this waste of oxygen spoke.

There was no indepth comments or political accountability raised about the government, LK led a cinversation and they really just complied.

Sophie Ridge asked Cleverly would Zahawi be gone by Prime Ministers Questions. Must admit she was giving it too him about his Tax situation. He just wouldn't answer anything and repeated the same line, Nadim is a successful entrepreneur who's paid a lot of money in tax. Another ****.

Cleverley is a stooge, over-promoted and sent out to be stupid at people.
Kuennsberg asked why he hadn't got informed on Zahawi's problems prior to coming on when it was bound to be raised. Unsurprisingly he claimed ignorance and want to the same pointless rote answer.

For a short spell on the sidelines before landing another plum job in a reshuffle

How can this show be impartial when the walking Picasso painting is so obviously right-wing and against government intervention in the economy?

She goes straight from rimming Tory ministers to hitting Labour counterparts on the head with a mallet

saw hunt on ridge, bland and uneventful lack of any information given on his remit
Question 1: ‘you’ll have to wait…’
Question 2: ‘you’ll have to wait…’
Question 3: ‘you’ll have to wait…’
etc.
LK: ’I know you’re very busy so thanks for coming in’.

I sometimes wish the BBC would ask me to ‘step back’ just from watching.

It seems a bit odd to try asking the Chancellor what his plans are when he's (officially) not meant to tell anyone until he stands up in Parliament. He seemed to follow that.

Of course, I also fully expect mass leaks to the media in the day or two beforehand.

opening line: One big question - are the Tories getting back on track?
