I’ve looked at the team sheet, looked again, taken a third look…and I’m still really worried about having Akanji on the left when Lewis moves into the MF when in possession…..he was like a headless chicken at times against spurs…

Disappointed that Alvarez has been left out again. If he keeps being in and out of the side, he'll be wondering if he's at the right club for his development. Sitting on the bench isn't much use to him.
I share this concern. I'm hoping there is clear communication with him that his game time is being managed because he's been training (and playing sometimes) since September 2021 barring the period after the World Cup. From a continuity point of view as well as the lad looking fresh and on form, it makes no sense to bench him.

FFS, Pep's dropped Alvarez again!

What has the lad got to do to get a run in the team? He must be f*cked off?
Do you bench KDB or Haaland for him? Harsh on him but i don't see those 3 being together on the pitch often. Unless we are desperate for a goal.

He is certainly not rested. As Pep would say, when you are that young you can play every day.

As good as that team is, I just wish we could get some sort of stable starting 11 for a bit. Do we really need to change 3-4 positions every game? Team can't get in a flow.
I only see 2...

You drop Gundo for Kevin. Gundo has been in average form at best.

Wolves have managed to score 12 goals in the premier league so far this season. They should hopefully provide less goal threat than Spurs do. I’d like to see Dias back in but I suppose it’s softly softly with him.

Not only that but strange changes again to a defence which has been a problem over the season. Would have thought this was an opportunity to start the same 11as Thursday again. We have five players to sub in if they show signs of tiredness.

Maybe just easing him back after such a long absence

Hopefully mate, I just worry we are heading in a direction of player disharmony of not playing? I know he’s just back from injury now but if it stays the same for a few more weeks then I think conversations might be had.
