At Goodison they can beat anyone with the fans behind them, but Lampard going and a new man coming in might rejuvenate things.

Yes they've been waiting for players leaving the ground and giving them abuse. We've been there ourselves in our chequered past. Just like ourselves though if the players show some spark and fight they'll be right behind them.

Rather weird that this has been reported by everyone as confirmed and yet several hours after it first broke the clubs official twitter account hasnt said anything. In fact it's last post was from 2 days ago after the final whistle at West Ham! Kind of sums up how that place is run.

It's weird as it was hard to make a case for Lampard to stay, but now he's sacked I actually feel quite sad. At what happens next mainly, who the the fcuk would want to take the job on. And will the result be any different even, this squad is arguably the worst I've seen since the 70s
Lampard was a bit naive, stupid or just clueless as a manager.
There were games recently where he should have just settled for a point, as down the bottom a point can make all the difference. Then again I think he looked at his bench and thought how can this lot change the game. It sends you round in circles just thinking about just how bad it can get. There is still half a season to play and I think with us not having a game at the weekend and transfer window closing now was the right time.

Plus, imagine the kopites having a parade to celebrate us going. They would never shut up. It would mean more to them than 6 times lad! I would have to put up with so many people who have never been near my city telling me how great the reds are. And, the BBC would explode.

I don’t think you will go down now mate, Frank should never have been appointed, he’s not experienced enough .. If the board choose the next manager wisely, I think you will be mid table when the fat lady has done her bit…!

The social media account posted nothing for about 2 weeks recently. I think they share a mobile and don't have wi-fi at goodison. I hope lampard comes out and runs them down the banks, but he's probably too decent a bloke. He's better off away from the club and though he'll probably struggle to get another job, you have to wish him well

Frank is clearly a good manager but I think the Everton situation is way beyond him. He's had time to build at Brentford. Everton need to appoint someone like Frank after they've gone down

I think if they do something like that it would have to be on a 6 month contratc with heavy bonuses to keep them up. then in the summer find a manager who will play football.

I Do have an affinity with Everton, bitter blue half of the city with unfair coverage compared to red teams. And whatever they are they are a thorn in the side of lfc.

So i hope they don't go down, and to do that they need to sack lamppost, he's useless. It's amazing what media bias does. Him and Gerrard are useless.

Everton would do well to get Kompany.

They wont get Vinny in a million years. He is far too savvy.

Well Everton are a bigger club than Brentford with more potential but they are a bit of a mess to say the least.
