Dyche in now before it’s to late ............ Lampard will take them down ........ they should have fooked him off after the Bournemouth games ....... you can only go so long flirting with the drop before it catches you out .............. I know Everton like West Ham demand a certain style of football but what’s both clubs achieved in demanding that style ?????? 1 trophy between both clubs over the last 30 odd years
so do we............

Relegation will be a disaster for them.

It'll be highly unlikely they'll go straight back up as the squad will be dismantled and it'll be tough for them to get high quality players to get out of the championship.

Then the season after next they move into their new stadium and the last thing they want is to play in a shiny new stadium in The Championship

Saturday was the absolute nadir of football, a disgraceful game in which the Everton players managed to disrupt from the 1st minute, I can’t believe Lampard wasn’t complicit with the tactics. Paired with the second worst referee I’ve ever seen (Lahoz is the winner) that game deprived fans of what should be entertainment. I’ve nothing against Everton but I’m not going to mourn them getting relegated just on that performance alone, was awful to watch.
I’ve always said there’s no wrong way to play football, just lots of right ways.

But Everton do not play football. I don’t even think the ball was in-play for 20 minutes in that second half. It was disgraceful. Leeds fans were moaning that it was the worst time wasting they’ve ever seen when they played Everton.

Absolute waste of money watching that. Just 25 blokes stood around on some grass doing nowt for most of the game.

If that was my team, I’d rather get relegated than have my team play like that. Playing in the division below is often more fun than struggling in the division above. At least you can enjoy more wins and a greater amount of attacking football in the division below and getting promoted is nearly as brilliant an experience as winning the Premier League.

The dismantling of our current squad would be one of the most positive things to happen. One of the worst squads re performance you could possibly wish for, folded like a deckchair once again. Even Pep would struggle to get a tune out of them.

Fans have little if no say in how their clubs play football sadly. I just expect a player to do the basics of their jobs and look like they care when they don't. Problem is they're an asset to their club, unlikely to be dropped when they play badly as their value would drop or as in our case, their replacement is possibly equally as dire.
The club seem focused on just getting into a new stadium with our premiership status intact. The malaise within the club has been going on for decades now. I'd sooner be in the championship starting anew with a new structure on and off the pitch than watching what is happening at the moment. Lampard though not the cause of the problem is certainly a factor in where we are now. Hard to see him surviving after the cup game on Friday as they won't want a new manager in place then.

Give it to Unsworth until the end of the season! I would say your current owners would have Pep or Klopp sacked in 15 months top.

Rooney will probably get it, they'll then bring back Ferguson and Kenwright will carry on as normal for a few more seasons. I think the problem is who would genuinely take the job and what conditions would they expect. Dyche is an obvious candidate and he would do a job at keeping us up. But that just gives false hope again, it really is a mess of a club

The Biffo's would drive him there for nowt...

He's not gone down too well with the locals at boundary park, they want him gone but his two mates Royle Jnr and Royle Snr are running the show so looks like his job is as safe as houses.
