How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

The most recent speaker echos my view: it is a generational thing. We can't expect to see benefit after a few months or a few years but in 20 or 30 years time we will probably accept it was the right thing to do.

well yeah when most are too poor to visit Benidorm and Magaluf and see how well the EU is doing coz instead all we can afford is a long weekend in a crumbling Skeggy reminiscing about mum and dads timeshare on Tenerife we will all be well happy. You do realise why we joined originally don't you?

Which 1970s/80s sitcoms do you base your views on the EU on?
Mind Your Language or Duty Free?

Ah jam tomorrow. Or in several thousand tomorrows that's the Brexit way.
If I'm still here in 20 years I'll be 85 and might think it was the right thing to do if I'm totally fucking demented. If I've still got my marbles then I'm sure I'll still think it was a shit-show.

The funniest and saddest thing was Leadsome, with cult like devotion saying after 7 years she's still convinced it was the right thing to do, despite all the facts to the contrary. Then absolutely no mention of what they will do to ensure it was still the right thing to do, what their action plan is ( obviously there isnt one ).Total bollocks.

Could be worse…

Even Russia?

It‘s tiresome. If it’s going to take a generation for us to find some benefits then that means that there was no benefits to leaving because you don’t look forward 20, 30, 40 years when your life is in shit-state now.

My son, who will be 24 in a month’s time will be in his mid-sixties in 40 years. Are people seriously advancing this as a positive? The fucking state of this debate: This wasn’t the Brexit we voted for. Wait 40 years, you’ll see. It’s all the EU’s fault. Embarrassing cunts. Own your fucking mistakes.

If this was the case maybe we should have restricted the referendum vote to the under-60s

Emily Matliss was on the other week and said that every day/week/month of the Brexit debate they had many many more economists and businessmen against Brexit than for it but, on every news show, for the sake of ‘balance’ they always had one of each on, which is actually more nonsensical than it sounds…

Come on folks……it‘s our fault for talking the country and brexit down.
Stop it now and watch the good times roll!!

Glen Matlock having a mini rant over John Lydon's Brexit vote (and subsequent Irish passport move) on BBC this morning....
