Ref Watch

PIGMOL is now a closed shop cabal, wallowing in its new found sense of power. No transparency nor accountability save themselves or the PL big wigs that have installed them to do their bidding. The financial packages on offer have compelled them to get on board with the edict. They are gaining a stranglehold on how games are officiated to the point that they are beginning to feel unassailable. One person sat in a box in charge of VAR v the 4 at the W.C and 3 in La Liga? Self regulation will inevitably lead to corruption and unless we the paying public can have access to how are game is being run I will continue to be turned off by this charade. It really is up to the fans to say enough is enough. We managed it with the S.L so why not with this? Something stinks to high hell and it requires outing.

100% correct.

Fans have got to come together on this with disruptive demonstrations at the offices of Pigmol,PL,SKY,BBC,FA etc.

Fans need to get this front and centre as with the ESL.

These bastards are using the tribal nature of Fans to divide & conquer and as long as fans don't come together nothing will change.

Supporters clubs, the FSA,FLA and others must take the lead and City fans can lead the leaders !!

Revolution is needed with some really eye catching activities that will catch the imagination and garner international publicity.

These corrupt red shirt lovers have got to be brought to heel in a publicly humiliating way.

Btw....How and where do the match officials get into The Etihad ?

Would love that to happen, but whilst there is so much money in the game, the honest, loyal, match paying fans will have no voice. They don’t give a toss about us.

100% correct, sadly only the fear of god will alter things.

Recently on TV there was a series of "Big Match Revisited", showing games from the 60's & 70'S. After some games, Brian Moore was able to question the ref' on a decision that may have been seen as "controversial". I presume that practise was abandoned at a later date.
Also, I recall Lineker announcing that MOTD would, in the future, reduce the time spent on criticism of referees.

A petition could be a great way of highlighting that all fans are unhappy with the current system. I think that if you get over 100000 signatures it has to be discussed in parliament. It would be great publicity.
Would need to be properly worded in such a way that it is aimed at the new white paper on the future of football. Needs wording they can't manipulate. It should say something like l support the notion that all conversations between the referee and all V.AR. officials must be broadcast on the screen at all premier league grounds including a reason for the decision. The supporters clubs of each premier league team need to be involved and to push all fans to sign such a petition. Is that something our supporters reps can instigate?
It is start!
