All teams will have broken the rules to some degree – certain clubs (that wear red)... will have been at it for years, however it's only us that have been microscopically looked at!
This investigation must have have been a huge undertaking, no way they would do that for all teams!

Bang on this. This has taken soooo long IMO because they have had to dig and dig to get what they want. There will be breaches everywhere, no doubt, but what there won't be is a forensic deep dive into the accounts of every club until the powers can get what they need. I am not saying we are necessarily guilt free but that we are the ones who they have always been after. All that said its incredibly worrying.

Cmon City, we need to know what we are thinking/saying on this from the highest level at the club. Get a statement out.

The club has haf 14 years to challenge the legality of Financial Fair Play.

They've chosen not to, and signed agreements to follow those rules, so they deserve to be punished for breaking them.

Will get pelters for this but I want the club to accept wrongdoing, make some changes to the hierarchy and commit to running the club honestly from here on out. We can't keep doing this every few years.

Apparently the PL have confirmed that the Panel hearing the evidence will be John Aldridge, Miguel Dellaney, and Richard Keys so we are guaranteed a fair hearing :)

In all seriousness, this could get tasty. I guess the PL hope something will stick, but a lot of the allegations have been aired and in some cases tried already, so there are bound to be abuse of process arguments. I guess they will want some to stick and then it's up to us as to whether we are prepared to take a "pinch" again. If not, off to the high court and all the books get thrown open.....including the PL's......

This case won't be decided by the 'independent' tribual, it'll be in the High Court on appeal after we've been found guilty. My concern is that will have much less scope to interfere with the tribunal's decision than CAS did. All very very concerning.

It will go all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. City could blow the PL away
