PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I am pretty sure we will be cleared of any wrong doing here.

However if I know one thing about our core fan base. We have never, ever, forgotten our roots, and those "Yo Yo Years" we older fans lived through. Tough skin fuckers we are. We know how to mobilize and deal with adversity.

A 2 League demotion and 20 point deduction would be turned in to "City On Tour" by our core fan Base and end up being a 2 year bender, fans hitting every boozer in the country. And enjoying every minute of it.

Tourists would be replaced by those that were priced out of the Stadium.

We would wear it all like a badge of honour.

What will be, will be, and we will still be there tomorrow in any worse case scenario.
Spot on. The 30 odd thousand of us that were here in the shit times still are by and large. We're not going anywhere.

Surely the details matter? If they fucked up on that, what else have they messed up?
What a Clown that Tweeter is.

Thankfully small details matter legally.

" Stand up Sir ......you are charged under Section blah blah...Sub section blah blah..."

" Sit down again........Yeah rip that charge sheet up...... we have charged you under the wrong Section, Sub section ".

That tweeter has already decided in his Head.

Does the 1-0 relate to City for the PL f*ck up by making mistakes and changes to the details, that City noticed, or the other way around to the PL?

As for the other Mullock quotes.

Needless to say the owners will do their level best to get legal team to fight it and will throw a lot of money at it. How Corbyn can be brought into this argument I have no idea. All I am saying is if the owners were white, this would not be happening.
I find that a strange stance. The Corbyn reference is he was smeared by loads of people about being antisemitic when he clearly isn't. People know this and it was proven to be false, it's a dangerous statement to make.
There are political situations as the middle east are looking to invest heavily in the UK if this embarrasses the Arabs there may be a political fall out

Because we weren’t part of the G14 and aren’t part of the Cartel of clubs in the aftermath of that, weren’t part of the Sky Four or the original Premier League Five (remember when five clubs tried to set up the PL with ITV and try and get 75% of the revenue shared between themselves and the remaining 25% shared between the other 18 clubs?)… we’ve never been ‘in there’ with that group of clubs who are basically business partners who all collude to enhance their own clubs and fuck the rest of us.

We turned up and upset their party and they’ve had it in for us ever since. We broke up the Sky Four, we were playing in the CL while many of the G14 were dropping out. It angered them… all! We aren’t one of them, we are a threat to them, they don’t want us up with them and they certainly can’t take it that we’ve overtaken them.

They have previous board members in prominent positions across the governing bodies; we have nobody. We are an outsider. We are their enemy.

They have worked together to get the two UEFA investigations and this Premier League investigation banged on our desks. The funny thing about that is that a group of businesses colluding to go against another business is literally a Cartel in UK, European and US legal systems and they are illegal. They have brought in ‘anti-competitive practices’ like FFP, which, again, is actually illegal.
Great answer to my rhetorical question buddy. Love it

i bloody well love this post, we should send this out in the villa programme, it should be pinned on the tactics board in our dressing room, we’re gonna unload & unleash everything every little dark secret the gruesome hateful 8 want hidden the premier league will regret their attack on us as we will unload the best legal minds on earth & expose all their skeletons in their closets, they wanted this remember the gloves will come off i don’t doubt we as a club have built dossiers on our enemy’s so it’s release the hounds time, they’ll wish they never started this witch-hunt on us.
I sincerely hope the club have been digging the dirt and have enough to bury the two main culprits in all this... I hope when all the accusations are dropped we drop the bomb and bury the cnuts!

Interesting that the announcement was also on the Munich anniversary. Not saying it was planned like that but imagine your average neutral member of the public seeing respectful manchester united staff honouring the dead on the news followed by news of those 'dirty arabs' making mugs of the country by fiddling the books again

Most definitely, because this is the last of the investigations against the club. We were all delighted to win at CAS but this one stayed quietly in the background, just nagging away ever so slightly. Now it has come to the fore, we can face it head-on. I have noticed the change in mood from this morning. Despondency has been replaced by bullishness, optimism and defiance.
I have read most of the thread and largely agree. I think relegation and or title stripping is not likely but points deduction and or transfer embargo are very real possibilities. To clear our name we may need to go to the High Court which some on here have said may be precluded. The other real concern for me is that this may not be the end of it if they extend their investigation to include the post 2018 period.
My conclusion is that this is a witch hunt whose conclusion was at an opportune moment for the PL.
