Yep, someone's already mentioned it... Sugar took it to court and wriggled out.. the brass neck of that club..Didn’t spurs get deducted 12 points in the 90s that was later suspended or something. Same as Swindon town.
Can’t remember the ins and outs as I was a kid at the time.
Maybe some of the more senior members (most) will recall this.
Took a pinch but not againNo way are Mansour, Khaldoon and City going to accept fines and penalties. That would be saying and admitting City are guilty.
City did that the first time with UEFA, even though they didn’t want to, took the pinch, and then UEFA went after City agin, eventually losing at CAS.
Again they implied it.
You are on City forum. What do you expect? We are pissed off. This is where we come to vent spleen. So, thanks for stating the obvious. As a fan of another team, I find this very interesting. But what strikes me after reading a lot of this thread is that there's a lot of blame-game going on here. I've read a lot of blame towards other clubs, the FA and PL, but very few, if any, are talking about the real case and the substance in the accusations. If there's done something wrong, which the enquiry will find out, surely there has to be consequences?
Endgame???Feels like the endgame to me this.
Followed by City's go in down with a billion etc etc..A good rendition of you can stick your fucking charges up your arse this weekend.

So say we riposted this and if they look like patsies.. do they open themselves for consequences?
Or they get off clean no matter what??
I’m calling bullshit, ones a fucking Arsenal fan ffs.I think you should have reasonable faith in the 3 man panel. They are going to be very serious career lawyers and judges who have bigger concerns than their own football fandom and know their work is likely going to be reviewed by one of the highest courts in the land and have a lot of public scrutiny.
It's similar to the CAS panel, not UEFA's kangaroo hearing.
I'll have you a tenner Charity bet they won't apply the same logic and reasoning they usually have when it comes to this debate, they've already made their decision egged on by the Yank influencers. They'll dismiss some of the charges to make it look fair but there'll be enough guilty affirmations to give the Premier League permission to apply whatever punishment they wish. Our hopes lie with the Appeal process, if we're allowed that.I think you should have reasonable faith in the 3 man panel. Khaldoon is one of the brightest, substantial men on the planet.I’ve been impressed with Khaldoon and the leadership since the takeover. Everything has always seemed measured, controlled, slick. I’ve often wondered if this is just brilliant presentation or is there substance. I guess we’re about to find out.
It's a bit like City's media dept on here sometimes.....the board is just too nice and accommodating. So, do you think every club should be scrutinised like we are? Guessing you have come on here to gloat.
I like that, short and to the pointA good rendition of you can stick your fucking charges up your arse this weekend.
Endgame?Feels like the endgame to me this. They want to get us for something and will likely succeed.
They can't take away the last decade the memories will last forever and whatever comes next I will always be thankful for the club and the ownership.
