It just feels like pep is trying to build the 3-2 backline in build up like he did at barca. Having Rico as inverted RB and Gvardiol as auxillary cb. Walker has to adapt or see the bench.

I think he's said in the past that Yaya was one of his favourite players as well as David Silva.

I'm guessing because when I've watched him he's always been a bit of a dick on the pitch. Flys into tackles tells other players to do one and sticks up for his team mates. He's also young so he can improve, also showing leadership qualities

And Croatian - is it really true that no team has ever won the champions League without a Croatian in the squad?

I also don’t want Rice, he’s too much huff and puff for me (although I do think we need some more raw energy in the team) and not enough finesse to take us to the next level
 
It would be odd for West Ham to be open to selling Rice but I guess if he wants to go they need to cash in. Moyes openly said the other day if he was to leave it would break the British transfer record which does concern me. I get that KP could be going back which helps. If we truly want Bellingham and I hope we do that’s 100+, Gvardiol again I hope we sign is 100. This is all adding up and although I’m not massively concerned about these charges I just can’t see us going for essentially 3 100m deals in the same window.

Gvardiol would be brilliant. So would Bellingham - adding him and Rice would ramp up the energy and legs in midfield which is very much needed.

Happiest about the fact we’ve told Joe Shields to finally do one, left and then started trying to sign every fucker from the academy. Fine at Southampton but Chelsea? Nice try.

Yep they’ll be getting another England international player and a wedge of money so a win win for them
 
Gvardiol would be absolutely quality, he’s perfect for us and only 21, he’s made for this back 3, if we stick with it and he really does play LB and is more comfortable there than a Ake, would be a monstrous signing. On Bernardo and Laporte, I love them both but the team has lost fight and passion, if they don’t want to be here we could receive great fees and start rebuilding.

Tbh I totally disagree. Think Declan would be a fantastic engine to bring into a blatantly slowing midfield. Phillips could and never know might start having some game time and do the same job Rice would offer but that remains to be seen!
