Part of me wishes he had just said “no comment, let the judges proceed and we are confident we will be proved innocent” and then blanked any further questions not relating to team or the next game. The press will love his comments and just keep wanting to make headlines. The best way to do that is keep speculating and winding him up. He is entitled to his comments and presumably he was given guidance by the owners and board, but actually I agree with everything he said, we have been very successful and the main drivers of this are American (and now Saudi Arabian) owners who want to reduce the competition.
